Founded Upon Passion
Nicole Madeline Davison founded NMD Careers recognizing job seekers and career changers often need the guidance of a true partner to help at every stage of the journey. Her experience within the Staffing Industry as a Marketing Consultant and a Corporate Trainer influenced her decision to pursue a formal education to focus her expertise in Career Counseling and Coaching.
For over 20 years, Nicole has worked with college students, career changers, women returning to the workforce and recent college graduates. Nicole has strong industry knowledge, formal training in counseling and coaching, and experience with various career-related assessments.
A message from our founder:
I started NMD Career Consulting, LLC, a private career coaching and consulting practice over 4 years ago.
I began my career in Marketing and Sales for Fortune 500 companies, including Automatic Data Processing and Kforce, Inc., where I gained valuable corporate sales and marketing experience and an understanding of a variety of industries. My experience within the Staffing Industry as a Marketing Consultant and a Corporate Trainer influenced my decision to pursue a formal education in Counseling to focus my expertise in Career Counseling.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked with college students, career changers, women returning to the workforce and recent college graduates. I have strong industry knowledge, formal training in coaching and counseling and experience with various Career-Related assessments. My specialized skills include Career Counseling, Coaching and Consulting, Resume Writing, Interview Prep, Training and Leadership Development, Marketing, Recruiting, Nonprofit Organizations, Group Dynamics, Workshop Development and Programming and Volunteer Management.
I graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a degree in Business and Finance and years later, decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Counseling with a Concentration in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University. Additionally, I am a Board-Certified Coach with a designation in Career Coaching.
I often tell my clients they are not going to find a bigger cheerleader to help them find their way. Helping individuals with every phase of the Career Development Process is something I am very passionate about. Taking the time to truly understand the big picture of your life along with your own individual values and interests is critical in the Career Development Process, and I am thrilled to begin this journey with you.
I am confident that my industry knowledge, formal training in counseling and coaching and experience with various Career Related assessments will result in a strong foundation for you to begin your next (or first) Career Development Journey.
Social Media Marketing Manager
Samantha is a rising senior at Quinnipiac University studying Marketing with a minor in International Business.
Samantha hopes to gain experience in marketing, and learn more about its relationship with social media, while managing and growing NMD Consulting’s presence on a variety of social media platforms. More specifically she creates content, engages with followers and reaches new targets for NMD Consulting all through social media. When she is not perusing social media, she can be found painting for her own small business, thrift shopping or cuddling up with her two cats. After her internship, Samantha plans to graduate college and attain a Marketing position in New York City.
Social Media Marketing Manager
Juliana started the NMD Instagram page and was very instrumental in the foundation of our Social Media Brand. Juliana was primarily responsible for all things social media and assisted with researching potential workshop models and online platforms for future use. Juliana will be graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Minor in Media Studies.
